TERMS:
Buyer's Premium: There will be a 10% Buyer’s Premium added to the winning bid. The sum of the winning bid plus the Buyer’s Premium will be the sales price.
Bidder Qualification: Prospective Bidders must register for a bidder’s number. Registration is also an agreement to comply with all terms of the auction, both written and verbal.
Payment: All items must be paid for in full at the conclusion of the auction. Accepted forms of payment are cash, personal / company checks, Mastercard and Visa credit cards are accepted (no debit cards). A 3% transaction fee will be charged on credit card purchases. All out-of-state checks must be accompanied by a bank letter of guaranteed payment.
All items are sold “AS IS” and “WHERE IS” with no warranty implied or expressed by the Seller or Ford Brothers, Inc. All auction items may be inspected prior to the sale.
Vehicles: (If Vehicles are available at this Auction) The sales and usage tax for title vehicles will be paid at the Court Clerk’s office. Any delinquent taxes will be paid by the purchaser. The buyer and seller must sign vehicle titles today. There will be NO OPEN TITLES. The buyer of titled vehicles assumes all liability for that vehicle at the time of purchase. Titles must be transferred within 2 weeks or they will be junked.
Items must be paid for before they are loaded. A paid receipt must be presented to auction personnel before loading.
Item Pickup: All items should be removed today. The purchaser will assume all liability for items left at the auction site. Items left at the auction site for more than 1 week will be forfeited by the purchaser with NO REFUND. When an item is sold, the buyer is responsible for keeping up with the item.
Taxes: Sales tax will be collected on taxable items unless the purchaser is buying for resale and has a tax-exempt certificate or signs a farm exemption form for farm-approved items.
Auction Note: In the case of a disputed bid, the bidding may be reopened between the parties with the high bid at the auctioneer's discretion.
